Dr Oliver Walton is currently Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the University of Duisburg Essen and researcher at the Royal Collection, Windsor Castle. He has taught at the Economics University of Prague and the University of Bayreuth.

Dr Walton researches and publishes on various aspects of the Royal Navy, the British monarchy and German-British history.
